Itinerary
2:30 PM – Pickup from Watamu
Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Watamu and begin the journey towards Mambrui, north of Malindi.
3:15 PM – Arrive at Mambrui Sand Dunes
Arrive at the dunes and meet your local guide. Get a short introduction to the area before beginning the walk.
3:30 PM – Explore the Sand Dunes
Walk across the golden dunes and climb some of the higher points for wide views of the Indian Ocean and surrounding coastline.
Take your time to enjoy the scenery and capture photos.
4:30 PM – Optional Quad Biking
For guests looking for more adventure, enjoy a quad bike ride across the dunes.
Quad biking is optional and paid separately unless included in your selected package.
5:15 PM – Dune Walk and Photography
Continue exploring the dunes as the afternoon light becomes softer. This is a great time for photographs as the sand takes on warmer colours.
5:45 PM – Sunset at the Dunes
Find a good viewpoint and enjoy the sunset over the dunes and coastline.
Relax, take photographs and enjoy the quiet surroundings before leaving.
6:30 PM – Depart Mambrui
Leave the dunes and begin the return journey to Watamu.
7:15 PM – Drop-off in Watamu
Arrive back at your hotel or accommodation in Watamu.
