Day 1 : Nairobi → Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi at 07:30 on the A104 highway, stopping at the dramatic Rift Valley viewpoint for photos. Enter Lake Nakuru National Park by early afternoon. Afternoon game drive along the lake shore — flamingos often carpet the water pink. Check in at the park lodge. Dinner with views over the lake.
Day 2 : Full Day Lake Nakuru — Rhinos & Flamingos
Full day of game drives within one of Africa’s great parks. Track the park’s resident white and black rhinos — a remarkable conservation success story. Baboon Cliff offers a sweeping aerial view of the flamingo-lined lake. Afternoon drive to the acacia woodland zones where lions and leopards rest in the trees. Sundowner at a scenic picnic site.
Day 3 : Nakuru → Lake Bogoria
Morning game drive then depart for Lake Bogoria — a remote, alkaline lake in a spectacular escarpment setting. Walk the lakeshore past steaming hot springs and erupting geysers. Hundreds of thousands of lesser flamingos feed in the shallows. Picnic lunch on the shore. Afternoon drive to your lodge near Lake Bogoria or Baringo.
Day 4 : Lake Baringo — Boats & Birds
Morning boat ride on warm, freshwater Lake Baringo — one of Kenya’s most important bird sites with over 470 recorded species. Your guide navigates past hippo pods, nesting goliath herons, and basking Nile crocodiles. Visit a local Njemps fishing community. Afternoon at leisure or optional sundowner cruise.
Day 5 : Baringo → Nairobi
Early morning bird walk along the lake edge. Breakfast at the lodge, then depart for Nairobi. Stop at the equator crossing for photos. Arrive back in Nairobi by mid-afternoon. Hotel or JKIA drop-off.
