Day 1 : Nairobi → Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi early via the Rift Valley escarpment and the agricultural highlands of Narok. Arrive Maasai Mara by noon. Check in at your premier tented camp. Afternoon game drive in the heart of the Mara Triangle — arguably the best wildlife area in Africa. Dinner by the campfire.
Day 2 : Full Day Maasai Mara
Two full game drives — dawn and afternoon. Your guide tracks lion prides, leopards in the acacia trees, and massive elephant herds. The Mara River banks come alive with hippos and crocodiles. Sundowner drinks on a riverbank escarpment. Maasai village visit in the early evening.
Day 3 : Mara River & Migration (Seasonal)
Full day on the Mara River banks during July–October migration — witness the thundering wildebeest crossings that National Geographic has called “the greatest show on Earth”. Even outside migration season, the river drive delivers extraordinary elephant, hippo, and predator encounters.
Day 4 : Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru
Morning game drive, then depart for Lake Nakuru — a 4-hour scenic drive through the Rift Valley. Afternoon arrival and game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. The pink flamingo flocks on the alkaline lake are a breathtaking spectacle. Overnight at a lakeside lodge.
Day 5 : Full Day Lake Nakuru
Dedicated day at Nakuru — tracking the park’s white and black rhinos, lions, leopards, and giant waterbuck. Baboon Cliff offers a sweeping aerial panorama. Afternoon bird walk near the lake shore with your guide. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 6 : Lake Nakuru → Amboseli National Park
Early departure for the long drive south to Amboseli via Nairobi. Arrive Amboseli by afternoon. Check in at a lodge with direct Kilimanjaro views. Late afternoon game drive — elephants returning to the swamp at dusk with the mountain glowing behind them is an unforgettable sight.
Day 7 : Amboseli Dawn Drive → Return to Nairobi
Pre-dawn wake-up for the iconic Kilimanjaro photograph — clearest at first light. Extended morning game drive tracking Amboseli’s famous big tusker elephants. Bush breakfast in the field. Depart for Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon. Hotel or JKIA drop-off.
