AA Lodge Amboseli sits a short drive from Kimana Gate, with genuinely striking Kilimanjaro views from parts of the property. It’s positioned as a budget option in the Amboseli area, and guest feedback reflects that tier, comfortable and functional rather than polished, with some recurring mentions of aging facilities and inconsistent cleanliness in guest reviews.

Traditional style cottages are available alongside standard rooms, and several guests specifically recommend the cottages over the tented options for a more comfortable stay. The property includes a pool, playground, and occasional evening entertainment including Maasai dance performances.

What to Expect

Game drives. Morning and afternoon drives into Amboseli National Park, with your own driver guide throughout your stay.

Dining. A restaurant with buffet meals, guest feedback notes the food selection is more limited than at higher tier Amboseli properties.

Facilities. An outdoor pool, children’s pool and playground, and a spa.

Good for. Groups and travelers prioritizing budget over polish, who still want genuine Kilimanjaro views and a functional base for game drives.
