2 Day Kenya Safari (Tsavo East)

Experience the wild wonders of Tsavo East on our thrilling 1-day, 1-night safari departing from Watamu. Spot iconic elephants, lions, and a variety of wildlife roaming the vast savannah landscapes.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: Watamu – Tsavo East

  • We depart around 7:00 am from your resort.
  • Tsavo East is a vast wildlife reserve located in the heart of Kenya, covering over 13,000 square kilometers. The reserve offers an unforgettable wilderness experience, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking landscapes and observe a wide variety of African animals in their natural habitat.
  • Our first stop is Crocodile Point, just before entering the park gates. Here, we’ll admire crocodiles in the Galana River and monkeys.
  • You arrive at the park entrance around 10:00 and immediately begin the game drive (photo safari) until lunchtime in search of animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, zebras and the many others that live in the African savannah.
  • Arrival at the lodge/camp around 1:00 PM. Check-in and room assignment.
  • Buffet lunch and relaxation in your room or by the pool.
  • Around 3.45pm, when the heat begins to ease, we depart for the second game drive until sunset, when we return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Watamu

  • Breakfast at 6:00 and at 6:30 we set off again for the last game drive and to admire the sunrise in the savannah.
  • At the end, you exit the park to return to your village.
  • On the way back, we can stop at the Green Hill school, supported by the For Kenya Ets association, which operates in this area with development and cooperation projects.
  • The return is always in time to allow you to enjoy lunch at your hotel.
