Day 1 – Tsavo East
- Departure around 6:00 am from your resort.
- To reach the Tsavo East park gate, we’ll cross Kenya’s largest forest, Arabuko Sokoke, which covers approximately 420 km2 and is one of the last remaining coastal forest areas in Kenya. Tsavo East is the largest park in our country (13,747 km2), characterized by its fascinating red earth.
- First short stop at Crocodile Point, to refresh yourself and admire the crocodiles in the Galana River.
- You enter the park around 9:00 am and immediately begin with the Game Drive (photo safari) until lunchtime, in search of animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, zebras and many other animals that live in the African savannah.
- Arrive at the lodge/camp around 1:00 PM. Check in to your room.
- Lunch and relaxation in your room or by the pool.
- Around 3.45pm, departure for the second game drive until sunset, when you return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Amboseli
- Breakfast at 5.30am and we leave at 6am.
- Two-hour game drive and then we head to Amboseli Park, where we will arrive in about three and a half hours.
- Arrival at the camp/lodge on the slopes of the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro, lunch and rest.
- We set off for the afternoon Game Drive around 3:00 pm and head towards Lake Amboseli where we will continue our search for animals.
- At sunset, return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
- After dinner, a representative of the Maasai tribe will give a welcome show around the bonfire, and we will stay to chat before going to sleep.
Day 3 – Watamu
- Breakfast at 5:45 a.m., and then everyone back in the jeep at 6:15 a.m.! We’ll continue our game drive in the park until 8:30 a.m.
- Finally, we will head towards Watamu, where we will arrive around 5:30 pm, after about 9 hours on the road.
- Along the way, we’ll stop in the town of Voi for lunch. There’s the option to visit the nearby Maasai village (not included), where you’ll witness traditional dances and tour their homes, called Manyatta, as well as purchase souvenirs to support their community.
