Children: welcome from age 7. The overnight pace works well for families.
Waterhole at night: ask the lodge staff to wake you if elephants show up after midnight. Most lodges will do this on request.
Extending to 3 days: a second night adds a full extra day of game drives. Just ask us about the 3 day option.
Tsavo East vs Tsavo West: East is bigger, drier and more open, great for large herds. West is greener and more varied, great for Mzima Springs and the rhinos.
