When you enquire about or book a safari with us, we collect:

• Email address
• Phone number
• Travel dates
• Number of travelers

How we use your information

We use this information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and build a safari itinerary and quote
• Confirm and manage your booking
• Book and secure accommodation with hotels and lodges on your behalf, which means passing your name and travel dates to the properties involved in your trip, so they can hold your reservation
• Contact you about your upcoming trip

WhatsApp communication

We offer WhatsApp as a way to communicate with us. This is entirely your choice, if you’d rather communicate by phone or email, that’s fine too. Messages sent to us over WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy practices as well as this policy.

Sharing your information

We share your name and travel dates with hotels and lodges when booking your accommodation, this is necessary to secure your reservation and can’t be avoided if you want us to book on your behalf.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your information

Enquiry and booking information is currently kept in our email records. We don’t have a fixed automatic deletion schedule in place at this time. If you’d like your information removed, contact us at info@ahotsunsafaris.com and we’ll delete it on request.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and Rank Math, our SEO plugin, which does not track individual visitors but helps us manage search visibility. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited and time spent on the site.

Children’s information

We do not knowingly collect information about children. If you’re booking a family safari and provide the number of travelers, that’s the only children related information we collect, we don’t collect names, ages, or any other details about children specifically.
