Nairobi & the coast
2–8 nights
Private & tailor-made
Established 1995
Nairobi is the easiest place in Kenya to start a safari. The Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Aberdare and Meru are all reachable by road or short flight, most within half a day. We plan private safaris from Nairobi, tailor made around your dates, your budget and what you want to see. Every trip is your own vehicle and your own guide, no fixed group departures. We've been doing this since 1995.
Each park below has its own page with full details, wildlife, best time to visit, and packages specific to that destination.
Share your dates, how many days you have, and what you want to see.
We put together an itinerary with parks, lodges and pricing, then adjust it with you until it's right.
Once you're happy, we lock in park entries, accommodation and your vehicle and guide.
Your guide meets you in Nairobi. We stay reachable for the whole trip, not just before you book.
Nairobi isn’t just where most flights land, it’s genuinely the best base for reaching Kenya’s most famous parks. Three reasons it works so well.
Everything is within reach. The Maasai Mara is 5 to 6 hours by road or under an hour by air. Amboseli is 4 hours by road. Lake Nakuru is 3 hours. No other city in Kenya puts this many major parks within a single day’s drive.
You can mix classic parks with quieter ones. Nairobi safaris aren’t limited to the Mara and Amboseli, Samburu, Aberdare and Meru are all reachable too, giving you a genuine choice between busy, well known parks and quieter alternatives most visitors skip.
Flights and road transfers both work well. Wilson Airport runs frequent scheduled flights to the Mara, Amboseli and Samburu, useful if you’re short on time, while road transfers give you game viewing en route, which flying skips entirely.
About 5 to 6 hours by road, or under an hour by scheduled flight from Wilson Airport.
Yes, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru both work well as 2 day trips, close enough for a proper game drive on both the first and last day.
We can arrange domestic flights to the parks as part of your itinerary, you just need your own international flight into Nairobi.
Flying saves time, about an hour versus 5 to 6 hours by road, but driving includes game viewing en route and costs less. We can help you decide based on your schedule.
Yes, our 6 and 7 day combo safaris run from Nairobi through several parks and finish in Malindi, so you can move straight into a beach holiday.
Most visitors need a Kenya eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization), applied for online before travel. We’ll guide you through it after you book.
