Big Five Venture Safaris was started by Catherine Muli and has been running safaris across Kenya and Tanzania since 2012. We’re a licensed tour operator with offices in Malindi, Watamu and Nairobi, which means wherever you’re staying on the coast, or flying into Nairobi, you’re dealing with a local team rather than a call centre.
We plan and run private safaris across Kenya and Tanzania, Kilimanjaro treks on all four major routes, and day excursions along the coast. Every safari is built around your dates and your budget rather than sold off a fixed shelf, and our driver-guides handle the details, from park fees and permits to lodge bookings, so you’re not managing logistics on your own trip.
Big Five Venture Safaris Limited is registered in Kenya and holds a current Tourism Licence from the Tourism Regulatory Authority as a Class C tour and safari operator. We’re also registered with the relevant county authorities in each area we operate. If you’d like to see proof of our licensing before you book, just ask, we’re happy to share it.
